• 1stPeak : Acquires measurement readings based on the first peak to cross the gate
threshold (level) [see Figure 2 ‐ 11 on page 38].
• Edge : Acquires measurement readings based on the position of the first crossing
point of a gated signal (see Figure 2 ‐ 11 on page 38).

2.3.4 Alarm Indications
Whenever an alarm is triggered on either measurement gate, the operator is alerted in
two different ways:
• An audible tone is emitted from the EPOCH 600
• One of two alarm indicators (LEDs) is illuminated on the front panel of the
EPOCH 600 (see Figure 2 ‐ 12 on page 38)
