Using live view
You can check the effect of exposure compensation or white balance on a 4-split screen.

Press the INFO button repeatedly to display the
comparison screen.

• The exposure compensation comparison screen is
displayed. Press

to switch to the white balance
comparison screen. Press
ac
to switch the screen.

Use

or the control dial to select the setting
value, then press the

button.
• You can take the picture using the set value.

Notes
• Exposure compensation is not available in
M
mode.
• This function cannot be used in
g
mode.
It is possible to enlarge the subject for display. Enlarging the image during MF makes focus
confirmation and adjustment easier.

• The enlargement frame will be displayed.

Use

to move the frame and press the

button.
• The area inside the frame is enlarged and displayed.
• Press and hold the
i
button to return the enlargement frame to the center after it was
moved.

Turn the control dial to change the magnification (7×/10×).
• Pressing the
i
button will cancel the enlarged display.
• During enlarged display, AF will not be activated even in the shutter button is pressed all the
way. You can take the picture after checking the focus in the enlarged display.
