Switching between displays
The camera uses an eye sensor to automatically switch between the monitor and
viewfi nder displays. The monitor live view display and viewfi nder also show information
on camera settings. Options are available for controlling display switching and
choosing the information shown.

Live view is displayed on the monitor. The viewfi nder turns on automatically
when you bring it to your eye. When
the viewfi nder is lit up, the monitor
turns off.
• If the viewfi nder is not in focus, put your eye to the
viewfi nder and focus the display by rotating the
diopter adjustment dial.
• Pressing the
u
(
LV
) button switches the display
in the monitor from live view to the super control
panel. Putting your eye to viewfi nder displays the
view through the lens. The monitor turns off.
• Shooting information can be viewed by pressing
the
INFO
button when the super control panel is
displayed (P. 40).
