Setting the resolution of still image
Select the [Acquisition] tab A .
If the setting items of [Camera] are not displayed, press B to open
them.

Full resolution: You can observe and acquire the high definition
images. This is suitable for displaying clear images
on the large display.
4K:
This is suitable for discussion or conference. You
can observe and acquire the images acquired with
the 4K resolution microscope in the actual pixel
size on the display compatible with 4K.
Square:
This is suitable for acquiring images for reports.
You can observe and acquire the center of the
observed image. It is not necessary to trim the
images for reports.
High speed:
This is suitable for screening the specimens. You
can frame the same field of view as the one used
in “Full resolution” at high speed.
High sensitivity: This is suitable for observing dark specimens (Ex.:
Polarization observation). You can observe and
acquire the same field of view as the one used in
“Full resolution” with high sensitivity and less noise.
Full HD:
You can observe and acquire the images in full
high-vision size. This is suitable for observing
images with the full high-vision display.
· If the resolution specified is different from the resolution of the
display, the live image is zoomed in or zoomed out according
to the display size. When the image is zoomed in, the noise in
the image is also zoomed in, and, therefore, the noise may be
noticeable.
· The live image is zoomed in according to the resolution of the
display, but the aspect ratio may not be optimum. To display the
image in the optimum aspect ratio, set the display resolution
appropriately. For procedures to set the display resolution, see
(p.87).
