Since absolute alcohol is highly flammable, it must be handled carefully. Be sure to keep it away
from open flames or potential sources of electrical sparks. For example, electrical equipment that
is switched on and off may cause the ignition of a fire. Always use absolute alcohol only in a well-
ventilated room.
· Use a diluted neutral detergent to clean the parts. Moisten a soft cloth with diluted neutral detergent and wipe the
surfaces of the parts.
Do not use organic solvents since it deteriorates coated surfaces or plastic parts.
· When disposing of this product, be sure to follow the regulations and rules of your local government. In particular,
note that the lithium ion coin battery (CR2032) is built in DP2-AOU. For any inquiry, contact Olympus.
· When smoking the room for cleaning, etc., move DP23-AOU or DP28-AOU to a place not exposed to smoke.
· Be careful for the generation of condensation, since it may cause failure of the product. Condensation is a
phenomenon that the vapor in the air contacts the surface of a metallic plate, etc. and attaches as water drops. If
the temperature suddenly changes, for example if DP2-AOU is suddenly moved from cold place to warm place,
condensation may be generated.
