Appendix A: ChainSCANNER Sizing Charts

The following ChainSCANNER sizing tables are a reference to determine an
appropriate number of links for a given pipe size. There is a metric chart and a U.S.
Customary unit chart. Each cell in the chart shows a range of pipe outside
diameters—pipe circumferences are between parenthesis. The number at the top of
the column indicates how many short links are required while the number at the left
of the row indicates how many long links are required.
