Set the white balance appropriate to the lighting

Hold the camera correctly, keeping your fingers
and the strap away from the lens.
Use focus lock to focus on the subject and then

Select a different flash mode (not flash off

, the shutter speeds decrease. Stabilize the
camera or hold it steady.
Hold the camera steady, and press the shutter

If the subject is closer than 30 cm (11.8"), use

Clean the lens. Use a commercially available
blower brush and then wipe with the provided
camera cleaner to remove dust. Mold may form
on the lens surface if the lens is left dirty.
