If adding scale bar
, ensure that the
objective highlighted in the software
interface is the actual objective you
are using on the instrument so that
your scale bar is accurate.

before saving.
Note: Users should
record light settings, magnification,
exposure setting, and objective used.
If looking for bioinfringence, switch to
Manual
exposure, and use the
polarizing filters to optimize intensity.
Typically users start around 70 ms,
and fluctuate according to brightest
biofringence. Acquire image as
described above.
Note: User should record their optimized exposure settings with polarization filter
in “manual” mode.
Save images from your session on a
flash drive instead of on desktop or on
computer.
