Use the
centering knobs
located on
the left and right sides of the
condenser to center the view of the
field diaphragm.
Rotate the
field diaphragm
toward
the open position. As the view of the
field diaphragm approaches the edge
of the field of view,
use the centering
knobs on the condenser to fine
tune the position of the light
. Once
the light is optimally centered,
open
the field diaphragm
just beyond the
field of view, no more. Time to collect
your image!
Click on the
Cell Sens
icon on the
desktop.
Click the
Live
camera icon in the
CellSens user interface.
Check
automatic exposure
in the
user interface and optimize focus by
zooming in (control +) and adjusting
the fine focus until the pixels are
darkest, zoom out to check focus.
Use the white balance icon and drag
mouse to neutral location on
specimen.
Click
Snap
to acquire image.
Calibrate image window will pop up;
ensure objective used to set
magnification.
