18. Connecting the SPRINTER module to the cash register Olympia CM 1856F
|| The printers must have the following basic settings:
Baut rate 9600 BPS
( serial Interface)
Data Lenght 8 bit
Parity Non
Flow control X on/X off
Low Power Mode ON
KP-MODULE for the kitchen printer
Connect the printer cable from the KP-MODULE to the kitchen printer
1. KP-Module
for the kitchen printer 1 set the Dip S/W1 and S/W2 to the off/off position
(normal position) = printer ID 1.
2. KP-Module
for kitchen printer 2 set the Dip S/W1 and S/W2 to the off/on position = printer ID 2.
POS-MODULE for the cash register
1.Kitchen printer
Connect the interface cable from the POS-module port KP1 to the cash register, use the port
( RS 232 ) COM-C on the cash register. This interface is preset in the basic programme SECTION #23.
For the 2
nd
kitchen printer
Connect the interface cable from the POS-Module port KP2 to the cash register, use the port
( RS 232 ) COM-D on the cash register. You have to set this interface in the basic programme
SECTION #23. Use the same settings as for COM-C.
Cash register settings
In the setup menu in the file machine options 13#12, click on “wireless module active”.
