Text Messages (SMS)

Navigate in the

Messaging

menu in order to write text messages (also re

ferred to as "SMS") using the mobile phone. A standard message normally
contains maximally 160 characters.

Sending a text message with more than 160 characters could result in ad
ditional costs, depending on the terms of your SIM card.

Write messages

Use the function to write a text message:

1. Select

Messaging

Writemessage

2. Enter your text.

The number of characters already entered and total number of characters
available for your text (0/612) appear at the top right edge of the display.

3. Press the

Call

key and select

SIM1done

Send

4. Press the

Call

key and select a contact from the phone book.

Alternatively, enter the required phone number manually.

5. Press the

Call

key. The text message is sent.
