WARNING! You must disengage the No-Slip Security Straps prior to
attempting to climb down. Failure to follow these instructions may
result in serious or death!
STEP 14: Slip your feet out of the foot straps (F.). Move your harness lanyard up
the tree as high as possible without hindering your movement.
NOTE: Depending on how you plan on sitting (i.e., facing the tree or facing
away form the tree) you may find it necessary to move the net seat (G.). If you
find that you want to face away from the tree, disconnect the no-slip security
strap (I.) and lower the seating platform (B.) as shown in Figure 33. Reconnect
the no-slip security strap (i.). Slide the net seat (G.) toward the tree and carefully
step over it. Move the seat as far back as is comfortable. Disconnect the no-slip
security strap (I.) and raise the seating platform (B.) to a comfortable height. Sit
back down on the net seat (G.). Reconnect the no-slip security strap (J.) on the
seating platform (B.).
NOTE: An optional Ol’ Man Treestands Removable Extra Climbing Seat is
available. This optional seat eliminates the need to step over the net seat during
set-up. Contact your local Ol’ Man Treestands dealer or an Ol’ Man Treestands
customer service representative at 1-888-656-2606.
