Complete dialogue fields with the name(s)
and number(s) of the recipient(s). Click on
Send. The fax is added to the fax pending file.
The fax pending file is the list of faxes waiting
to be sent by
Monitor.
Name: recipient’s name.
Company: company name.
Number: recipient’s fax number.
Number from phonebook: click on
Choose from a phonebook to send a message
to a recipient listed in a phonebook.
Phonebook: send the fax to all recipients in
a phonebook. Click on Load a phonebook to
select a phonebook.
List: send a fax to all numbers on a list. Click
on Load a list to select a list of recipients.
High resolution: allows you to send the fax
in standard or high resolution.
Cover page: allows you to send a cover page
as the first page of the fax.
Model: select a model for the fax. Choose the
model from the list.
Schedule: send the fax at a scheduled date
and time. Specify the date and time when you
wish to send the fax.
Fax preview: view the fax before sending it.
New: initialise the text field of the cover page.
Load: load a text from the memory.
Save: save the cover page text on disk.
Faxes can saved in fax format (.OFX). This for-
mat is compatible with other fax files. Click on
the button
Save as , give the file a name then
click on OK. Using this method faxes can be sent
from many different Windows applications.
Save as : you can delay the fax transfer. Click
on save as . Give the file a name and click on
OK .Using this option, you can send faxes from
various Windows applications.
Transmission of a fax
list
Olifax allows the transmission of fax lists
(.OFX). from many different Windows appli-
cations in fax format.
Click on Message then Send message . Select
one or several recipients. Click on the File
button to select fax(es) to send.
The file list can be put back to zero by clic-
king on the bin to the right of the list.
Manual fax
reception
Faxes can be received manually be using
Olifax Monitor .
Use keyboard shortcut (press Alt Ctrl R simul-
taneously) or click on
Manual reception in
the System menu of Monitor.
You can also click on the icon:
A dialogue box appears; click on OK to
receive or on Cancel to cancel fax reception.
