4.7 Direction positioning of air emission
Direction of air flow may be horizontal or vertical. Air flow
direction cannot be positioned by remote control. The fins
on the inside of the air outlet can only be positioned
manually to permit a horizontal emission of air (fig. 10).
IMPORTANT: the horizontal direction may be altered only
while the mobile deflector is still and in a fully open position.
There are two possibilities for obtaining a vertical air flow
emission:
- the continual oscillation of air flow, obtainable by pressing
the T9 switch Mobile deflector activation/disactivation. By
doing so the deflector achieves complete oscillation (that
is to say it goes from a closed position to an open vertical
position of 90
°
and then to the cooling position and from
the closed position to a vertical opening of 45
°
and then
again to the closed heating position).
- block the mobile deflector in the desired position by
pressing the T9 switch while the deflector is still moving.
By pressing the T9 switch once more the deflector resumes
automatic movement.
IMPORTANT: The deflector’s movement must never be
forced manually. The mobile deflector returns to the closed
position once the appliance has been disactivated by pressing
the T1 switch.
4.8 Selection of fan speed
Fan speed is controlled by means of the T5 switch. By
pressing the switch a number of times the speed alters in the
following sequence: low, medium, high to automatic.
The appliance’s output increases with the increase in fan
speed however silent running is diminished somewhat.
By setting the fan to automatic, the microprocessor
automatically regulates the speed according to the difference
between room temperature and the set temperature. As
room temperature nears the set temperature, the fan speed
is reduced.
With the dehumidification mode only, automatic speed
control is impossible as the appliance functions exclusively
at a low speed. Fig. 11
