Macintosh ® Systems
!
To connect to a Macintosh system, you will need an
optional Oki Data 6100e OKILAN Print Server (Oki
Data P/N 70034201) and a crossover UTP cable with
RJ45 connectors at either end.
1 Install the print server in the printer (see the directions
supplied with the OKILAN 6100e).
2 Turn off the Macintosh and the printer.
3 Attach one end of the crossover cable to the 10BaseT
(RJ45) port (

) on the printer network server.
4 Attach the other end of the cable to the RJ45 port on your
Macintosh network card. If your Macintosh does not have
an RJ45 port, you will need a network adapter to make the
connection.
5 Turn on the printer and the Macintosh.
Connect to Power
1 Plug the power cord into the back of the printer.
2 Plug the other end into a suitable, grounded outlet.
