Remove the Top Cover and set the Paper Thickness Lever (1) to
suit the paper. See

"Setting the Paper Thickness lever" on page

NOTE
If the Paper Thickness Lever setting does not match the paper being
used, paper feeding and printing may not work properly.

Remove the Paper Tray and Input Tray together, by gripping
the Input Tray at both sides and pulling it up and away from the
printer.
