Users should not attempt to
repair or replace any part of this device. Repairs
and maintenance must be carried out by qualifi ed
personnel. Any disassembly of the appliance will
void the warranty.

the presence of uninsulated high
voltages inside the appliance with a
suffi ciently high current to present an electrical
discharge risk to individuals.
An exclamation mark inside an
equilateral triangle informs users of
important operational or maintenance
safety instructions (routine maintenance) in the
instructions for use provided with the appliance.
•
Check that the supply voltage on the appliance's
data plate is compatible with your electrical
installation.
•
Do not use this appliance:
1. if the power cord is damaged,
2. if it is not functioning correctly,
3. if the device has been in any way damaged.
•
Plug the power cord into an easily accessible
power outlet.
•
Make sure the power cord cannot be crushed
or trapped, especially around the plug, power
outlet and where it is connected to the appliance.
•
This appliance is only intended for indoor use.
•
Ensure that you install the appliance on a fl at
and stable surface (avoid placing it on fabrics or
carpets in particular).
•
Do not place this appliance near a source of
heat, such as radiator, a hot air vent, an oven
or any other appliance (including amplifi ers) that
produces heat.
•
Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight
or dust.
•
Do not use this device near water or places
where moisture may be present, such as a bath,
washbasin, kitchen sink, near a swimming pool,
in a damp basement or any other damp location.
•
Do not place anything that produces a naked
fl ame (a lighted candle for example) on or near
the appliance.
•
Do not splash or spill liquid of any kind on the
appliance, and do not place objects fi lled with
liquids (such as vases) on the appliance.
•
Adequate ventilation of at least 10 cm around
the appliance is necessary to ensure good
ventilation.
•
Do not install this appliance in a restricted
space such as a bookcase, behind curtains, etc.
in order to allow suffi cient ventilation.
•
Do not open the appliance for any reason.
•
Never use sharp objects to access the inside of
the appliance.
•
The appliance must be plugged into a power
outlet. The power cord must remain accessible
after the appliance is installed.

Unplug this device during storms, or if it is not
going to be used for a long period, to avoid
damage.
•
The appliance must be switched off before
unplugging the power cable.
•
Never unplug the appliance by pulling on the
power cord; pull on the plug instead.
•
Persons (including children) whose physical,
sensory or mental capabilities are impaired or
whose experience or knowledge is insuffi cient
should not use the appliance, unless they are
supervised by someone else who is responsible
for their safely, supervision or for giving them
prior instructions with regards to using the
appliance. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

If your appliance functions in an unusual manner,
in particular if it makes sounds or smells that
seem abnormal, stop using it immediately and
take it to an authorised repair centre.
•
Use this appliance only in temperate climates.
Avoid tropical and particularly humid climates.
•
Unplug the appliance before cleaning it. Only
clean the appliance using a soft, dry cloth and
avoid the use of aerosols.
Your appliance transmits and receives radio
frequencies of around 2.4 Ghz. These emissions
can interfere with the operation of many electronic
devices. To prevent accidents, do not use this
micro-stereo when you are in the following
locations:

where fl ammable gas is present, in a hospital,
train, plane or petrol station,
•
near automatic doors or fi re alarms.
If you have a pacemaker or other prosthesis, ask
your doctor for advice.
The receiver operates within a radius of about
8 meters. The communication range may vary
depending on obstacles (person, metal, wall, etc.)
or the electromagnetic environment.
