Test sensor contact
After opening the device door and removing the sensor cable from the sensor, the alarm must
be signaled within 20 seconds by the red LED lighting up, "no sensor" being shown in the
display and the external fault signal "changing sensor" being switched over. When the sensor
cable is plugged into the sensor, the alarm must be cleared within 10 seconds.
11.4.
Test external signaling
For this test, the service relay is de-energized so that the relay contact opens. This fault case
can be simulated simply by pulling the mains plug, which also enables the external signaling of
a power failure on the device. The switching states of the relay are explained in the section
"Electrical installation".

Sensor - installation / exchange / storage / conditions of use
Sensor installation / sensor exchange
The replacement of the sensor is to be carried out as follows:
1.
Pull out the mains plug and open the appliance door.
2.
Pull the sensor out of the holder and turn it about 45 ° towards you.
3.
Loosen the screw connection on the sensor connector and pull the sensor connector off
the sensor.
4.
Press down the pressure ring on the flow measuring chamber, at the same time pull the
sensor straight out.
5.
Pull the protective cap straight off the new sensor, taking care not to touch or damage
the electrodes.
Note:
In the event of a warranty check, close the old sensor tightly with the protective cap
and send it back to the folding box. The liquid should not run out of the protective cap.
6.
Insert the new sensor straight into the plug-in system of the flow chamber and press it
in firmly as far as it will go. The sensor must click into place audibly and tangibly.
7.
Check the sensor for a tight fit by pulling it gently.
8.
Insert the plug of the sensor cable into the sensor socket.
Attention
: observe reverse polarity protection
The plug connection must be made without any great effort. Otherwise it
can be assumed that the electrical connection is faulty due to bent contacts
in the plug.
9.
Fix the sensor cable to the sensor with a screw connection and press the installed sensor
system into the holder on the mounting plate
10.
Close the appliance door and plug the safety plug back into the mains. Softcontrol
Data/F checks the sensor plug connection when it is restarted and reports "no sensor" if
the sensor is not recognized. In this case, Softcontrol Data/F must be switched off again
and the plug connection to the sensor checked for contact security.
