Compactor
Assembly
The Compactor prepares the sample in wafer form so the expansion may
be measured. As this is an enclosed vessel capable of very high pressures,
extreme care should always be taken by the operator and anybody that is
nearby. The Compactor can make two wafers at a time. Since the Compactor
does not require electricity, it may be placed anywhere in the laboratory
where shale or formation material is processed.
