3. Using the power supply unit

Connect the power supply unit
plug to a mains socket. (Note:
Observe the country-specific
standards for mains plugs.)

Ensure that the camera is
switched off and the battery to
be charged is inserted
correctly. Connect the USB
connector of the power supply
unit to the USB terminal of the
camera.
The charging status indicator should now light in most cases to
indicate that the battery is charging. The indicator light goes
out when the battery is fully charged.
Notes:
1. When the camera is switched off, you can charge the battery by
connecting the USB cable to a free USB port on a computer.
2. Only a rechargeable lithium battery may be used for this
camera. The new battery does not reach full capacity until it has
been fully charged and discharged several times. Completely
discharging the battery shortens its service life.
