g. Adjusting the throttle
•
Take precautions to operations and adjustments to make when converting
from a gas to another.
•
All work must be performed by a qualified technician.
•
Before you begin, turn off the gas and the power source of the device.
1. Change the injector burners
Remove utensils supports, the covers of the burners and the flame spreader.
Unscrew the injector using a 7 mm socket spanner and replace it with the
foreseen injector for the new gas supply.
Reassemble all the components thoroughly.
Once the injectors are replaced, it is advisable to tighten the injector.
2. Setting the minimum level of the flame
1. Turn the taps to the minimum level.
2. Remove the valve knob and place a small screwdriver to tap handle to
the center.
3. Correct adjustment is obtained when the flame has a length
about 3 to 4 mm.
- For butane / propane gas, the adjusting screw must be securely tightened.
- Replace the knob.
- Make sure that the flame does not go out when you turn the knob the
maximum level to the minimum level. If this is the case, remove the knob
and readjust the flow of gas, and then test again after the adjustment has
been made.
4. Repeat this process for each of the gas taps.
