Power up the radio
Connect the AC adaptor supplied with the radio to the DC jack at the back of the radio.The radio will power up
automatically and the display on the front will light up and show:

It will start scanning for a wireless network connection:

Connecting to the Wireless (Wi-Fi) Network
After the scanning of network is completed, it will display a list of the ESSID (name of the wireless network) that can
be detected through the wireless network:

Select the name of your wireless network and press <Select> to confirm. It will request to enter the WEP or WPA key:

It means your network is using one of the encryption systems. Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) or Wi-Fi Protected Access
(WPA). You therefore need to enter the correct WEP or WPA code in order to let the radio communicate with your network.
If your network is not configured with a WEP or a WPA code, the radio will connect to the ESSID automatically.
To enter the code, rotate the <Dial/Volume> knob to select each character of the code in turn. To select the character,
you need to scroll until the desired character is at the centre location. Then press the <Select> button to confirm after
each character.

Use the <Back> button to correct the entered characters.WEP and WPA codes are sensitive to upper and lower case
characters. Therefore the code must be entered correctly according to the upper and lower case characters.
After you complete the code, scroll the list to select <END> to complete the network key entry

The WEP / WPA code will be saved on the radio even with a power outage.If the display shows “Network error” or “
Invalid keys”, it means the code is not entered correctly. Please refer to the Trouble Shooting in the manual P.17.
It will start updating the stations if the network is connected successfully and will display the main menu:
