Right-click the Océ fx2081 PCL printer icon and select “Properties” from
the pop-up menu.
NOTE
For Windows 7 / Vista / Server 2008 users
If you logged on as a standard user (limited user), you need to use
“Run as administrator” command to change the printer properties.
To change the printer properties using administrator account:
1. Right-click the printer, select “Run as administrator”, and click
“Properties”.
2. Select the account that you want to use, and then enter the pass-
word. Click [OK].
3. Click [Printing Preferences…] on the “General” tab.

Select the “Ports” tab and then click [Add Port…]. The “Printer Ports”
dialog appears.

Select “Standard TCP/IP Port” and click [New Port…].

When “Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard” appears, click [Next].

Enter the NetBIOS Name or IP address assigned to your machine in the
“Printer name or IP address” and click [Next].

If the “Additional Port Information Required” dialog box appears, click
[Standard] in the “Device Type” field and select “Generic Network Card”
before clicking [Next].

Click [Finish].

Close the “Printer Ports” dialog.

Confirm that the added port is selected for your machine, then click [OK]
or [Close].
