Turning on/off the power

This machine has two power switches: the main power switch and the sub power switch.

Reminder

Once the main power switch is turned on, be sure not to use it in usual operation.

To turn on the power

Turn on the main power switch.

–

The main power switch is located inside the machine.
Open the front door and left side door to reach it.

When the main power switch is turned on, the Power LED on
the control panel will light in red.

Turn on the sub power switch.

–

The sub power switch is located at the front of the main
body.

When the sub power switch is turned on, the Power LED will
turn green.

The Wake-up Screen and Machine Status Screen will be displayed in sequence.

A few seconds after the Wake-up Screen appears on the touch panel, the Machine Status Screen will
be displayed. It takes approximately 7 minutes for the machine to warm up.

Do you want to set reserve jobs while the machine is warming up?

Touch [COPY] tab to change the Machine Status Screen to the Copy Screen, then check that the
message "Ready to set reserve job" is displayed in the message area.
