If you select PDF or Compact PDF File Type, you can specify the encryption level.
Encryption - Detail Settings
When you specify document permissions with "Encryption", you can specify detailed permissions.

Level Specifies the encryption level.
Password Type in the password necessary to open encrypted data (up to 32 characters). For confirmation, type
in the password twice.

Permissions Type in the password necessary to change document permissions (up to 32 characters). For confir-
mation, type in the password twice.

Printing Al-
lowed Specifies whether or not to allow data printing. When you specify [High Level] for the encryption level,
[Low Resolution] appears.
Enable copy-

other content Specifies whether or not to allow copying of text, images and other content.
