Maintenance Schedule
The Arizona 30 requires regular user maintenance as well as periodic scheduled cleanings. The
few minutes spent performing simple maintenance procedures help to ensure high print quality
and long life of your machine’s parts. The printer is designed to give you easy access to the areas
requiring regular maintenance. Diligent application of this routine will ensure optimum
performance from your printer.

Who Should Perform Maintenance?
If your site already has a technician in charge of printer maintenance, this person is the optimal
candidate. While routine maintenance may be performed by any user, the best maintenance
results from familiarity with the printer’s internal operation and history.
CAUTION
Use the proper protective gloves and only a lint-free cloth saturated with
isopropyl alcohol when cleaning surfaces on the Arizona 30 (i.e. sheet metal
frame, lids, ink tanks, vacuum platen and maintenance station).

Replacing the Waste Bottle
The level of fluid in the waste bottle will need to be monitored during printer use. When the
absorbent material in the bottle becomes saturated with ink and solvent, you must replace the
waste bottle with an approved Océ waste bottle (p/n 25000-25). Use caution while performing
this function and wear latex gloves and eye protection. Always dispose of the used waste bottle
in accordance with local disposal laws.
1. Turn off the printer.
