Regular barcode: Dark image on a bright background.

Inverse barcode: Bright image on a dark background.

The examples of regular barcode and inverse barcode are shown below.

Regular Barcode

Inverse Barcode

Video Reverse is used to allow the engine to read barcodes that are inverted.

Video Reverse ON:

Read both regular barcodes and inverse barcodes.

Video Reverse OFF:

Read regular barcodes only.

The engine shows a slight decrease in scanning speed when Video Reverse is ON.
