If the water has a high content of minerals (hard water) in your area, this
might lead to lime deposits on the appliance and on the surfaces around the
appliance. Consequently, this does not mean that the appliance is defective,
only that the tap water contains minerals.
•
Plug the appliance to a wall outlet and activate the appliance by turning the
steam adjusting wheel clockwise and the signal lamp will go on. Next, adjust
the amount of steam by means of the steam adjustment wheel until you
reach the wanted level. In order to turn off completely the steam, turn the
steam adjustment wheel anticlockwise to the end position.

You can direct the steam by turning the steam outlet on the lid in any
direction. Never point the steam towards electrical appliances or other
material that might be damaged by the steam.
The intensity of the steam is influenced by the relative humidity and the
temperature in the room. It will be more difficult to generate steam, if the
surroundings are cold and humid, because the evaporation will be more slow.
The air humidity in a room depends on the size of the room, the room temperature,
objects in the room and the conversion of air in the room. The capacity of the
appliance is given in accordance with standardized norms, which means that
the ventilation system of the room exchanges the entire air volume of the room
within two hours. If the ventilation in the room is more powerful or if doors and
windows to adjacent rooms are open, a big part of the steam is led out of the
room, and consequently, it is difficult for the humidifier to obtain the wanted air
humidity.
Scent function
In order to use the scent function, pull out the scent tray at the bottom part of the
back of the appliance. Now add about 10 drops of water dissoluble aromatics in
the filter of the scent tray and push it back into the appliance. The scent will then
spread through the steam mouthpiece, when the appliance is activated.
Cleaning and maintenance

Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet before cleaning and before moving
the appliance.
•
Wipe the housing of the appliance with a damp cloth and a small amount of
mild washing-up liquid.
•
In order to remove lime deposits from the feeder, do as follows: Pour a small
amount of detergent in the feeder and add water to cover it completely.
Leave it for 2-5 minutes and clean with a brush (do not use sharp utensils)
until the lime deposits are removed. Rinse with clean water.
