Level 1:
Tomatoes, pears, peaches, strawberries, oranges, plums, grapefruit,
lemons, cherries, blackcurrants, gooseberries, onion, cucumbers, garlic, parsley.
Level 2:
Carrots, apples, peppers, potatoes, cabbage, celery, spinach, fennel and
other root vegetables.
Please note that fruits that are rich on starch such as bananas, avocado, papaya,
figs and coconut are not suitable for the juice extractor. We recommend the use
of a food processor or a stick mixer to get a good result with such ingredients.
Press the fruit and/or vegetable pieces slowly down the feed chute by means of
the pusher. Never press too hard, as this may reduce the speed and the extraction.
Always switch on the appliance before feeding with fruit and vegetables down
the opening. The juice will run down into the jug/the container and the remains/
the fruit pulp will be ejected into the separate pulp container that holds up to 1.
2 litres.
When pressing hard raw materials we recommend not to press more than 3 kg
for more than maximum 2 minutes. Hard raw materials may block the extractor
and make it stop or run slowly. In such case, switch off the appliance and unplug
and clean the filter.
Always switch off the appliance after use by turning the on/off switch to “0”.
Wait for 10-15 seconds until the grater stops rotating. Let the last drops of juice
run off into the jug/the container and unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS SWITCH OFF the centrifugal juice extractor and wait
10 to 15 seconds for the grater to stop rotating before removing the lid!
NEVER USE YOUR FINGERS to press fruit and vegetables down the chute.
Always use the pusher.
Preparation of fruit and vegetables
You can preferably use fruits/vegetables direct from the refrigerator if you want
to make cold juice. Clean fruit and vegetables thoroughly. Remove big seeds from
e.g. peaches, plums, and cherries, whereas apples and pears can be prepared
without removing the core. Fruits and vegetables with a thick peel, e.g. melons,
cucumbers and citrus fruits must be peeled in order not to damage the grater.
Spots and bruises should also be removed before preparation.
Some good advice
• Always use fresh fruits and vegetables, as they contain more liquid.
