Put the bread in the slots and set the wanted step of toasting (1-
6). Step 1 is the shortest toasting cycle and step 6 is the longest
toasting cycle (the darkest one). The further up the scale, the
longer toasting cycle.
Please note that dry bread requires a shorter toasting cycle than
fresh bread. Press the elevator and the toasting starts.
IMPORTANT! The elevator will not be locked, if the toaster
is not connected to a wall outlet.
When the toasting is done, the elevator will rise automatically
and the toasting is interrupted. If it is difficult to get the bread
out of the toaster, you can use the elevator function. Pull the
elevator upwards to make it easier to grab the bread. If you want
to interrupt the toasting before the rising of the elevator, press
the stop button, marked with an arrow (next to the thermostat).
WARNING! Bread may burn. Consequently, do not use the
toaster close to or underneath curtains, kitchen cupboards
and other combustible material. Always keep an eye on
the toaster.
If bread gets stuck in the toaster, pull the switch and leave the
toaster to cool. Turn the toaster upside down and carefully shake
it to get the bread out. If that does not work, try to carefully
get the bread out. Do not use metallic utensils and be sure not
to touch the heating elements, as these may be damaged and
such damage will not be covered by the warranty.
Never put too big slices of bread in the toaster. They may get
stuck.
