Position the vacuum cleaner vertically in the wall fitting with the container
facing upwards and the handle downwards. Now the vacuum cleaner is fixed
and the charging starts automatically once the adapter has been plugged.
IMPORTANT!
In order to get full battery effect the first charging should be on
for at least 16 hours. Do not use the vacuum cleaner until this first charging
has been completed.
The red lamp on the motor part will be on to indicate that charging is ongoing
and will also be on as long as the vacuum cleaner is positioned in the wall
fitting with the current on. We recommend that the vacuum cleaner is not
connected to the mains for more than 3 days on end, as continuous charging
for a long period may damage the batteries.
How to use the handheld vacuum cleaner
Remove the vacuum cleaner from the wall fitting and switch it on by pushing
the spring loaded on/off button forwards. The vacuum cleaner stops
automatically when you release the button.
Before starting, check that the filter is positioned correctly. Never use the
vacuum cleaner without the filter as this might cause dust and/or liquid to
be sucked into the motor part, which may be damaged. Such damage is not
covered by the warranty.
Before you use the handheld vacuum cleaner, you should also consider
whether the surface of e.g. a table or a floor is too sensitive and might be
scratched by moving the vacuum cleaner across it. If this is the case you
should not use the vacuum cleaner on such a surface.
Please note that the suction capacity of the handheld vacuum cleaner depends
on the cleanness of the filter and the amount of dust etc. in the container.
We recommend that you empty the container often – preferably each time
you have used the appliance. To do this, press the release button, while the
container is held downwards. See also the section “How to empty the dust
container”.
IMPORTANT!
Do not use the handheld vacuum cleaner to remove sparks,
warm ash, embers or cigarette stubs. Do not suck up organic solvents, acid,
explosive dust/liquids or other poisonous products.
When the vacuum cleaner is to be used for suction of liquid, the container
should be completely emptied of dry dust or similar before you start sucking up
liquid. Remember to mount the rubber nozzle on the container for an efficient
suction of the liquid.
IMPORTANT!
For suction of liquid always keep the container vertically downwards to avoid
that the liquid is spilled or perhaps soaked into the motor.
