NEVER USE YOUR FINGERS to push bits of fruits and vegetables into the feeding
tube. Always use the pusher.
If anything is stuck and the appliance decelerates or stops, switch off the appliance
and clean the filter.
Switch off the appliance by turning the speed selector to OFF (or 0 on model
6682/6684) and unplug. Remove the juicer by first pressing the release button and
then turn the grinder clockwise. Always clean all accessories right after use and
please see ”Cleaning and maintenance”.
Some good advice
•
Always use fresh fruits and vegetables, as they are juicier.
•
Squeeze soft fruit and vegetables at low speed – to get the best extraction result.
•
We recommend that you drink the juice just after preparation, as the taste and
colour of the juice deteriorate when exposed to air. Since apple and pear juice
brownish fast, add a few drops of lemon to the juice to postpone the discolouring
of the fruit.
•
The vitamin content is high in freshly squeezed juice – so drink the juice as soon
as possible after preparation.
•
Freshly squeezed juice shall be diluted when served for children (1:1).
•
Juice made from dark green (broccoli, spinach etc.) or dark red (beetroot, red
cabbage etc.) vegetables is very strong and should therefore always be diluted.
•
Fruits that are rich on starch such as e.g. papaya, avocado, bananas and figs are
not suitable for juice. We recommend that you use a food processor or a stick
mixer to get the best result.
•
Apples, pears, beetroots, pineapples, oranges, grapes, carrots, melons, tomatoes,
and cucumbers are particularly suited for the juice extractor.
•
Leaves from e.g. lettuce can also be prepared in the juice extractor.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always clean all parts immediately after use. Make sure that the speed selector is in
position OFF (or 0 for model 6682/6684) and unplug before cleaning. Press the release
handle in order to put the mixing head in a vertical position. Remove the juicer from
the kitchen machine by pressing the release button to the left side of the accessory
coupling and turn the grater
clockwise at the same time.
Mount the juicer accessory in accordance with the instructions of ”Mounting/
demounting of the juicer accessory
”. All loose parts should be washed in warm water
with a washing-up liquid. Use the delivered brush for the filters. Only wash the parts
by hand. Wipe the kitchen machine with a soft cloth with water and a little amount of
washing-up liquid. Do not use scratching chemical agents, as these may damage the
surface of the appliance. Important: Never rinse the motor part under running water
or
immerse it in water of other liquids
