7.4.3 Changing the network name
"Settings" screen
It can only be changed in access point mode. (→ Establishing a direct WIFI connection (access point mode))
How to proceed:
1. Touch next to the "Network name (SSID)".
– A prompt appears for the device password.
2. Enter a new network name and confirm with "change".
– The InScenio FM-Master EGC gives an acoustic signal to indicate that the password has been success-
fully changed.
– The WIFI connection to the InScenio FM-Master EGC is disconnected and restarted.
3. Establish the WIFI connection using the new network name.
7.4.4 Changing the WIFI passwort

How to proceed:
1. Touch next to the "WIFI password".
– A prompt appears for the device password.
2. Enter the new WIFI password, repeat the entry and confirm with "Change".
– The InScenio FM-Master EGC gives an acoustic signal to indicate that the password has been success-
fully changed.
– The WIFI connection to the InScenio FM-Master EGC is disconnected and restarted.
3. Establish the WIFI connection using the new password.
When using an Android smartphone/tablet, the authentication may not function correctly after the WIFI
password is changed, as the new password is not automatically prompted. Remedy:
• Select the network name in the WIFI settings of your smartphone/tablet and enter the new WIFI
password.
• Delete WIFI on the smartphone/tablet, select WIFI again and connect.
