13. Measures in case of malfunction
If there is no improvement in the water quality 4 weeks after turning on the
Bitron, the take the following measures:
12. Disposal instructions
Dispose of your Bitron device in an environmentally responsible manner. Obtain
information concerning disposal from your local garbage disposal authority.
UVC bulbs may not be disposed of in household garbage. Remove the UVC bulb
from the device and return the UVC bulb to a collection point, so that an
environmentally responsible disposal can be carried out.
10. Storage/Wintering
If frost is expected then you must deinstall the device! Thoroughly clean the device
(see section 8. Cleaning). Check the Bitron for damages. Store the Bitron in a dry
and frost-free location. Children must not have access to the storage location.
11. Repair /cable replacement
In the case of repair /cable replacement, send the defective Bitron directly to the
manufacturer.
