Installation and connection
Set-up the unit
•
Install the unit flood protected in a horizontal position.
Ensure that the unit is installed with a safety distance of at least 2 m from the water.
•
Install the unit above the level of the water, otherwise it will be damaged by water flowing back.
Damage resulting from incorrect installation is not basis for a claim within the framework of the guarantee or warranty.
Connect the unit
Attention!
Dangerous electrical voltage.
Possible consequences:
Death or severe injury.
Protective measures:
•
Electrical units and installations with a rated voltage of U > 12 V AC or U >30 V DC located in the water: Isolate the
units and installations (switch off and disconnect from the power supply) before reaching into the water.
•
Isolate the unit before starting any work.
•
Secure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
•
Keep the air hose as short as possible and lay it well protected.
•
Connect the aeration stone to the air hose and position the aeration stone in the pond.
•
Attach the free end of the air hose to the air outlet on the unit.
Commissioning/start-up
Switching on the unit
: Plug the power plug of the transformer into the socket. The unit switches on immediately.
Switching off the unit
: Disconnect the transformer power plug.
Maintenance and cleaning

Should the performance reduce, clean the air intake opening in the base of the housing.
Replacing the membranes
Note!
•
Never operate the unit with defective membranes.
•
Always replace both membranes even when only one membrane is defective. The procedure is identical
for both membranes.
•
Please contact your specialist dealer if you do not wish to undertake the replacement yourself.
•
Remove the hood by unscrewing the screws from the unit underside (A).
•
Disconnect the connection hose from the pump heads (B) on the left-hand and right-hand side.
•
Lift the motor block (C) and remove the diaphragm chamber (D) fitted with four screws.
•
The membrane can be replaced after loosening the screw and removing the support disk (E). Ensure correct insertion
(note the shape).
•
Reassemble the unit in the reverse order and put it back into operation.
