packets from/to the switch.
4.2.12.3.3.3 L2Switch configuration examples
4.2.12.3.3.3.1 CPU port with simple bridge configuration and L2 forwarding support
The below figure describes the basic setup required to test the switch with CPU port configuration and L2 forwarding at the same
time.

The setup can be explained as follows:
• Remote host with IP 192.168.2.2 connected to
SWP0
• All
swp0 ... swp5 interfaces are grouped under the bridge interface br0
• The
br0 interface must be configured with an IP address; in this example the IP is 192.168.2.1
• The
swp5 represents the CPU port that can be used to monitor the traffic from L2Switch side
• The
eno3 represents the ENETC Port 3 internally connected to SWP5 over a 1G link
• Both
swp5 and eno3 net interfaces must be up
• The
eno2 (ENETC Port 2 with TSN capabilities) can be also brought up and assigned an IP address
• The L2Switch provides external connectivity for
eno2 through internal SWP4 in non-CPU mode
The following script configures the L2Switch for the above setup:
• Creates a bridge interface
br0
• For each interface:
— sets the MAC address
— adds it to the bridge interface
— brings up the interface
