UNPACKING.
CAUTION!
This packaging contains sharp objects. Take care
when unpacking. This machine could require two persons to
lift, assemble and move this machine. Remove the machine,
together with the accessories supplied, from the packaging.
Check carefully to ensure that the machine is in good condition
and account for all the accessories listed in this manual. Also
make sure that all the accessories are complete. If any parts are
found to be missing, the machine and its accessories should be
returned together in their original packaging to the retailer.
Do not throw the packaging away, keep it safe throughout the
guarantee period, then recycle if possible, otherwise dispose
of it by the proper means. Do not let children play with empty
plastic bags due to the risk of suffocation.
Warning!
The tool
must be firmly fastened to a workbench
,
using the fixing holes on the base of this machine (see ref.
No. 18 in picture 1). Use appropriate screws or bolts.
NO VOLTS ON/OFF SWITCH (PIC. 2)
This machine is fitted with a «No Volts Switch». In the event of
a mains power failure or if the mains plug is removed from the
mains supply socket before the machine is switched off. The
machine will not re-start without warning when the mains supply
is restored or the mains plug is re-connected to the mains
supply, until the machine is switched ON at the ON/OFF switch
fitted to the machine.
WARNING!
Before switching the table saw ON, make sure the blade guard
is correctly installed and operating properly.
Check that the blade is set to 90° and at its lowest position.
Ensure that the table is clear of any tools or other materials.
Ensure that all nuts, bolts and other fastenings are secure.
MODE OF OPERATION – CONTINUOUS OPERATION
This product is built to run according to an S1 operation mode.
Therefore, it can run in continuous operation.
THERMAL CUTOUT
In case of overheating of the electric motor, the thermal cutout
automatically stops power supply.
The motor may be restarted once normal temperature
conditions are recovered.

To stop the machine, push the «OFF» button marked ( O )
(Pic.2) (2.2).
If the machine makes any unusual noise or vibrates excessively,
STOP the machine immediately and investigate the cause
and rectify. If the cause cannot be identified DO NOT use the
machine and contact your nearest service centre.
FITTING THE RIP FENCE (PIC.3)
Slide the rip fence onto the table (Pic.3) (3.1). Position the
backing plates on the inside of the table (Pic.3) (3.2) and tighten
the securing knobs at each end of the rip fence. To reposition
the rip fence slacken the securing knobs and move the rip fence
to the desired position and re tighten the locking knobs.
CUTTING WITH THE BLADE AT AN ANGLE (PIC.4)
Loosen the two securing knobs (front and rear) (Pic.4)(4.1).
Tilt the blade using the handle (Pic. 1, control 8), checking the
adjustment on the scale (Picture 4) (4.2). Then re-secure the
securing knobs.
USING THE TABLE SAW
THE RIP FENCE
The rip fence is used to guide the material when making long
cuts, usually cutting along the grain NEVER rip freehand without
the fence in place and securely locked.
MAKING A MITRE CUT
Follow the same procedure for a cross cut but employ the mitre
guide in conjunction with the rip fence (Pic 5). Ensure that the
workpiece is held firmly into the guide before making the cut.
THE RIVING KNIFE
The riving knife ensures that when a cut is made the two pieces
of timber on either side of the blade do not close up onto the
blade. This prevents possible binding and kickback.
CROSS CUTTING (PIC.6)
Cross cutting is cutting wood against the grain at 90° or square
with both the edge and the flat side of the wood.
