• Do not put this terminal in hot water, use it in
a sauna or apply hot air from a hair dryer etc.
to it.
• Do not leave water on this terminal. The
external connection terminal may short out.
In cold area, this terminal freezes up and may
cause malfunction.
• To avoid dew condensation, before you bring
this terminal from a cold place to warm
place, wait until this terminal becomes room
temperature.
• Do not apply water flow stronger than allowed
( → P37). IPX5 waterproofness on L-05E
may not be able to protect itself from getting
wet, and therefore cause electrical shock,
corrosion of the battery, etc.
• Never try to charge when this terminal is wet.
• Do not wash with washing machine etc.
• This terminal does not float on water.
• Do not put directly on beach.
- Sand etc. may get inside of earpiece
(receiver), microphone, speaker, microUSB
connection terminal or earphone/
microphone terminal. etc., and the volume
become low.
- Sand etc. may get inside of microUSB
connection terminal or earphone/
microphone terminal etc., and the
waterproofness may not be effective.
- Using this terminal with water drop or sand
etc. may cause noise.
- Even a tiny amount of sand etc. getting
stuck in the back cover can result water
exposure.
• Do not pick earpiece, microphone, speaker,
microUSB connection terminal, and earphone/
microphone terminal. The waterproofness
may not be effective.
• Do not leave water drop in earpiece (receiver),
microphone, speaker or earphone/microphone
terminal. Such water may interfere with
talking.
• Do not leave water drop in microUSB
connection terminal and earphone/microphone
terminal. This terminal may short out.
