Stage One - Desulfation
:
Pulse charges the battery to break down the build up of lead
sulfate crystals. Lead sulfate crystals can occur when a battery
has been discharged or left unused for a period of time, seriously
afffecting the performance and lifetime of the battery.
Stage Two - Soft Start:
A slow steady build up of the charging process that limits the
power supplied to protect the battery.
Stage Three - Bulk Charge
:
The main part of the charge process where 80% of the charge is
applied It automatically “tops off” battery as needed, to keep
battery fully charged.
Stage Four - Absorption
:
Fully charges the battery by slowly reducing the charge rate
to allow the battery to absorb more power.
Stage Five - Battery Test
:
An automatic test to determine the battery condition after
charging. If future charging required the Recondition stage is
selected. If fully charged the battery goes into Float status.
