If the STATUS field displays information about the inaccessibility of the disk, format the disk by
clicking on the FORMAT button. A window appears asking you to confirm that you want to format
the disk.
NOTE: Formatting causes the loss of information stored on the hard drive.
Pressing the OK button confirms the intention to format the disk.
The status of the disk should be "READ AND WRITE" after successful formatting.
