DVR MAIN MENU
User can navigates through chart. Pressing the left mouse button runs the video at the pointed
moment.
Press and keep pressed left mouse button then move left or right to change the whole chart to earlier /
later time.
2.2.3.1. Smart motion detection
Smart motion detection is function which analyzes the video and search for motion detection in
specified field. There is no need to turn on the motion detection before.
To begin smart motion detection it is necessary to select one channel only, then press the button
in playback window. It display the menu .
Caution! Smart motion detection works only with AHD and analog cameras. It doesn’t support
IP cameras.
User have to define grid on the video where DVR have to search the movement. Use the mouse to
select the red rectangular areas of the detection.
Press the button to select whole screen for detection.
Press the button to deselect whole screen.
Press the
button to run the detection.
Press the
button to exit the menu and get back to playback window.
If DVR find the recording fulfilling the criteria they will be marked by dark green color on the chart.
In other case user will be informed if “No records found”.
2.2.4. Backup recordings
NHDD-AHD DVRs provide a wide branch of methods when it comes to copying the recordings. User
may copy recordings to external storage devices. The DVR features the possibility of copying the
recordings to an external HDD connected via the USB, or to copy the data onto Flash memories.
No matter which method is using to backup the video, user will be asked to select the backup type.
H264 file (require NHDR-5000 Viewer application), or AVI file (can be opened in popular video
players).
Below displayed information about size of the selected files to archive (also my be displayed
information about Start and End Time).
Please take a notice that normal recordings are divided into parts. Maximum size of the video
part is 254MB. It results that backuped recording also could be divided into parts.
