2.2. Electrical connectors and other rear panel components
NDR-HA4104 rear view
1. VIDEO IN
video inputs for connecting video signal sources with the DVR.
2. AUDIO IN
4 audio mono inputs (RCA type) for connecting microphones.
Note: sound recording may be conducted only when law regulations of
a given country allow for such activities.
Audio inputs are not equipped with pre-amplifiers, so connecting the
microphones directly to the inputs is not advised. Usage of preamplifiers is
recommended.
AUDIO OUT
Audio output for connecting speaker and amplifier. Connecting the speaker
directly to the outputs is not advised. Usage of pre-amplifier is
recommended.

4. VIDEO OUT,
VGA
Main monitor connectors, BNC or VGA type. VGA output allows for
connecting the main monitor in the computer mode. Please use signal
cord provided with the monitor when using said connection type.

NETWORK
RJ-45 connector for connecting the DVR to the computer network in
10/100Mb/s standard.
6. ALARM INPUTS
16 or 8 (depending on a model) alarm inputs, which may be set either as
normal open (N.O.) or normal closed (N.C.). In order to detect the alarm
signal it should last 0.5sec at least. All GND connectors are common
grounded. The ground of the alarm device needs to be connected to one of
the GND connectors.
ALARM OUTPUTS
The DVR is capable of activating external devices such as buzzers, halide
lamps, sirens etc. via its relay outputs. Max current for the output is 1A for
30VDC and 0.5 A for 125VAC.
