OPERATING THE DVR
4.12. Video playback
Recorders feature the option of playing the recorded video back. Only the *.strg format recordings, i.e.
without a built-in player can be played back by the device. Playback is active only when an external
flash memory was connected to the DVR.
In order to start playback during „live” view, please bring up an additional function menu by pressing
ENTER . Next, please select
Playback
and
Backup Data
. A screen allowing for selection of the
storage device and filename appears then. Using navigation buttons select the desired file and confirm
by pressing
ENTER . The method of playing back such recordings is identical as in HDD-related
playback.
4.13. Video search
Note: The video recording speed may decrease during search
Pressing the
MENU
or right mouse button during playback, brings up the search menu.
After selecting Go to three options become available.
•
Go to Time
- searches by time/date, or skips to the beginning/ending of the records;
•
Go to beginning - searches for first recorded picture;
•
Go to end – searches for last recorded picture;
After selecting
Search
three options become available:
•
Calendar Search
- allows for searching the desired date of recording, using calendar;
•
Event Search -
searches for recordings associated with events;
•
Text-In Search -
searches for text strings associated with recorded pictures;
