This user manual must be handed to the customer and must be kept in a safe place throughout the whole period of use!
The door leaf is made of a polyester canvas, with PVC coating on both sides. A series of steel reinforcements is
placed on its surface. The assembly hangs from an upper drawer beam and runs along lateral guides. The structure
described above is self-supporting and made of galvanized steel.
The canvas is raised or lowered by the action of a motor on a shaft that incorporates pulleys where the belts that
hold the canvas are collected.
The machine is equipped, in standard configuration, with a TS971control panel, and an SI 6.115 motor (for doors with
a surface area of ≤ 9m
2
), SI 12.90 (9m
2
< surface area of ≤ 25 m
2
), or SI 20.90 (with a surface area of > 25 m
2
).
Optionally, it can be equipped with an SI 13,100 FU motor with inverter. (up to 25m
2
)
The control panel regulates the opening and closing of the door, as well as the electronic safety mechanisms.
The door is equipped with a safety band and a safety photocell. Other configurations are possible, contact
NOVOFERM.
3. LIMITATIONS AND WARNINGS
3.A Limitations.
This door is intended to open and close partitions in interior spaces as well as in façades, in the latter case
normally as a secondary door.
The door is designed for motorized operation. In the event of an emergency or power failure, the door is designed
for manual operation (see section 4.A.3 of this manual).
The cycles established for the door are set out in the following table:
In case the number of work cycles per year is higher than that indicated in the table above, more exhaustive
maintenance than initially recommended should be carried out. In this case, contact the manufacturer to
estimate the most appropriate maintenance for these conditions of use.
3.B Warnings.
• Monitor the movement of the door and keep people away until it is fully opened or closed.
• Visually inspect the installation frequently for signs of wear, damage or imbalance; in particular, the canvas,
reinforcements and attachments. Do not use the door if adjustment or repair is necessary, as this may cause
damage.
• After any failure in the electrical supply, check the correct operation of the installation (the door must open
and close in a completely safe manner) and the control panel. Otherwise the control box must be reset. This
action must be performed by a qualified person.
• Avoid using abrasive products when cleaning the doors.
• Avoid blows that may cause deformation of the reinforcements, drawers, guides or mechanisms.
• Never attach any component to the door that could increase its weight.
• Never use the door as a lifting device.
• Never open and close the door with buttons other than those provided, and do not increase or decrease its
speed of movement.
• The door is not designed or built to pull objects or people.
• Do not place heavy objects on the door or apply perpendicular force to the door leaf.
ATTENTION:
Failure to comply with the limitations of the door may cause the machine to break down or
malfunction and may jeopardize the integrity of operators and installations in the vicinity of the machine.
Only use the door when no faults or errors are indicated.
