that allow the pen to function safely and effectively. Novolin-Pen® 4 is designed
to be used with Penfill® 3 mL insulin cartridges (referred to in this manual as

The CE-mark on a medical device indicates that the product conforms with the

Read this important information before you start using your Novolin-Pen® 4

Novolin-Pen® 4 is not recommended for the blind or visually impaired,
without the assistance of a sighted individual trained to use the device.

If you are treated with more than one type of insulin in cartridges, you
must use a different device for each type of insulin.

In case your Novolin-Pen® 4 is lost or damaged, always carry a spare syringe
and extra insulin of the same type(s) you use.

To minimize the risk of transmission of infectious diseases, your
Novolin-Pen® 4, your Penfill® cartridges and your NovoFine® disposable
needles should be used only by you.

Keep your Novolin-Pen® 4, Penfill® cartridges and NovoFine® needles out of
reach of others, especially children.
