Adjust the distance to the dispensing edge
The vacuum plate should be positioned approximately
3 mm behind the label dispensing edge.
If this is not the case, it can be adjusted as follows:
1. Unplug the compressed air line.
2. Loosen the clamping button [26A].
3. Push the transport unit until the vacuum plate is po-
sitioned approximately 3 mm behind the label dis-
pensing edge.
4. Tighten the clamping button.
Adjust the upper limit stop
At the upper stop, the vacuum plate should be located
approximately 3 mm below the label dispensing edge. If
this is not the case, it can be adjusted as follows:
1. Unplug the compressed air line.
2. Loosen the counter nut [28A].
3. Depending on its current position, turn the piston
rod clockwise or anti-clockwise.
4. Check whether the vacuum plate is located at its fi-
nal position approximately 3 mm below the dis-
pensing edge.
5. Change the position if necessary.
6. Retighten the counter nut.
If the LA -TO is mounted to an ALS 20x, ALS 30x or
ALX 73x, the height difference can be adjusted by loos-
ening the clamping blocks of the LA -TO. Afterwards,
the clamping blocks have to be refastened.
