3. I/O Connectors

3.1 Power

3.1.1

Connection from a Surge Suppressor outlet to the SF-100e is done using the

AC adapter that came with the SF-100e. The SF-100e requires 5V DC at an

average of .7A.

- Input: AC 100V-240V 50/60Hz @ 0.3A Max

- Output: 5V @ 2A Max

The AC adapter shipped with the SF-100e is high efficiency, super cool
and unusually versatile. This power adapter can be adjusted to plug

normally into a wall socket and has a much lower profile than a regular

AC adapter.

•

The AC adapter can also be adjusted to the upright position, allowing it to
be plugged into a power strip and only take up one outlet. Standard AC
adapters can take up two and sometimes three outlets in a power strip.

IMPORTANT: Use of any unauthorized AC adapter will void your warranty.
