Using the Novell Client Tray
Application
The Novell
®
Client
TM
for Linux workstation software extends the capabilities of Linux desktops by
providing access to NetWare
®
and Open Enterprise Server (OES). When installed on workstations,
the Client lets you enjoy the full range of Novell services such as authentication via Novell
eDirectory
TM
, network browsing and service resolution, and secure and reliable file system access.
The Client supports the Novell traditional NCP
TM
protocol.
Novell Client 2.0 for Linux supports workstations running:

Linux Enterprise 11 (32-bit or 64-bit)

1.1 Starting and Stopping the Novell Client Tray
Application
You can use the Novell Client tray application to access many of the Novell Client for Linux
features. Simply click the red N icon ( ) located in the tray.
