3.3 Connecting to RF signal
3.3.1 Using the supplied antenna
Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the antenna and the other end to the rear of the NAV Analyzer. Select
the correct dipole according to what you are measuring.
3.3.2 Using another RF source
Connect the source to the RF input at the rear side of the NAV Analyzer through an appropriate cable. Use the
supplied coax cable if suitable.
NOTE! Be sure not to overload the input. The specification for the input is max 0.1W (20dBm).
3.4 Turning the instrument on
a.
Make sure that the battery is charged, or that the charger is connected
b.
Turn on the power switch at the rear of the NAV Analyzer
c.
Press and hold (1 sec) the [ Power ] – button on the front panel
3.5 Turning the instrument off
The instrument can be turned off into two different modes.
1. Totally off (Power LED is off)
a.
Use the power switch at the rear of the instrument or
b.
Press the [Power]-button and select the [Off]-button from the sub-menu
