No.8 is the alarm cable interface, of which the “In” mark
connects to the alarm input, the “Out” mark connects to the
alarm output, the “GND” mark connects the grounding.
This model camera is offered with a “built in microphone” and
Audio is passed over the Ethernet cable with Video. You do
not need to connect anything to the Audio Connector on the
camera. To insure both audio and video are recorded when
connecting to a Northern NVR, make sure to select “Video &
Audio” as the Stream Type in the Recording Parameter Menu on
the NVR.
